“Color – the native language of unconscious”

This work is an attempt of creation a colour selecting method for the information environments for different purposes. The method is based on the energy properties of colours. In this project I used theoretical and practical approach for the investigation in human psychological energy.
When I am working on information design projects, as a professional designer I have to take into account different kind of characteristics of human perception. Therefore, this project is not only interesting for me but also it is useful for the practical work.
However our perception of the surrounding space depends from many physical, psychological and individual factors, in this research I worked on our perceptions from an energetic perspective. I believe that man without emotions is not longer a human being. Every moment of our lives is valuable because of its uniqueness. And the main reason is ours ability to convey physical
and psychological energy showing feeling and emotions that we experience.
The scientific film “Mysteries of Death” made me think about energy inside us for the first time. This is a documentary film about research on death from science and at the same time from the real-live point of view. It was an interesting fact for me that the human body contains huge amount of energy, with could be sufficient to light a small town within a week. And it releases for some time and could be measured even after the death of physical body. I was inspired to find out where we get this energy and how we use it. The answer on this question I suggested in animation movie “human and energy”.
This topic is highly actual now. A lot of fantastic works show us how important for human to feel and show emotion. The energy of connections between human and universe was the main line in the “Avatar” movie.
The “Equilibrium” painted the world without human emotions, showing that wars and disaster on the Earth occurs because of expression of emotions, but for the same reason the World so fascination and beautiful. But may be the compromise could be founded in a good environmental design that will stimulate positive energy.
Energy (in physics) is a quantity that can be assigned to every particle, object, and system of objects as a consequence of the state of that particle, object or system of objects.
Emotion is associated with mood, temperament, personality and disposition, and motivation. The English word ‘emotion’ is derived from the French word émouvoir.
Feelings – a term referring to various aspects of conscious experience. Doesn’t have an exact special value is used in a broad sense, encompassing emotions, affects and affective processes.
Movie
This movie shows path of the energy inside of human body. Our physical body needs energy in the form of food, water, air, movements and etc. Our feelings need new sensations, impressions and experiences. Our mind needs new themes for reflection, new tasks and knowledge.
I used a skeleton with some internal organs to show the internal processes in the human body. I created this “skeleton” more perfect than it actually is to show spiritual energy processes exactly. And I used an apple as a metaphor of “food” and as the object of understanding the world. The font I used is emotional and playful since I created it from several types with serifs.
